Simple habits that keep your work life and private life separate.

Use a stage name only

Pick a name that is not connected to your real name, social media or email address.

Decide about your face

Viewers from any country, including your own, can see your profile. Many models start without showing their face, or change their look with hair, makeup or a mask. You can always decide to show more later.

Check your background

Hide anything personal: diplomas, family photos, uniforms, recognisable views or landmarks.

Separate accounts

Use a separate email and, if you promote yourself on social media, separate profiles. Never share your personal phone number with viewers.

Be careful with payments outside the platform

Viewers who want to pay you outside the platform may be trying to find out who you are. Keep all payments on the platform.
